Four things, and all of them are easy.
One: clear a performance space. Around 8 by 8 feet, usually in the living or dining room. Move the coffee table and open up the floor.
Two: lighting. Soft lighting works best — lamps and candles instead of harsh overhead lights. If your Airbnb has dimmers, use them. Low light makes everyone more comfortable and makes it feel more like a show.
Three: music. The performer brings a Bluetooth speaker and controls the music by default. If you would rather use your own speaker or playlist, tell us ahead of time.
Four: cash for tips. Have the group pre-pool twenty-dollar bills before the performer arrives. $100 in twenties is a good base for a group of ten.
Not required but recommended: send the group a one-sentence heads-up before the performer arrives, especially if the bride or birthday guest is shy or introverted. The surprise can be fun, but a surprised honoree enjoys it less than one who knew.
Published pricing, no quote dance. Solo from $200, duo from $375, trio from $525. Text or call (213) 726-4627, or send us the details.
